C'est avec beaucoup d'ambition que j'ai fait l'acquisition de Gail quelque huits mois à peine après avoir acquis Naya. Gail s'est avérée être un défi sur toute la ligne et m'en aura certainement fait voir de toutes les couleurs. Ma détermination digne de celle d'un Chesapeake nous aura permis en 2011 de compléter, en 5 fins de semaines consécutives et sans aucun échec, ses titres de CH en conformation, JH et WC.
Après cet été rempli de succès et de fierté Gail a dû être opérée d'urgence à l'automne 2011 pour une pyométrite qui était à quelques heures de lui coûter la vie.
Gail avait l'attitude parfaite pour compétitionner, elle était allumée, inépuisable et très dynamique. C'est avec elle que j'ai appris les bases du maniment de conformation.
Gail a remporté Meilleur Vétéran et Meilleur du Sexe Opposé à la Spécialité Nationale 2015 du Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada, quel bel accomplissement pour un chien de 9 ans!

Elle a profité de la plus belle des "retraites", et ce grâce à ma mère que je ne pourrai jamais assez remercier!

L'histoire de Gail s'est terminée le 28 septembre 2019. Le cancer a malheureusement gagné. Elle a été une excellente professeure sur plusieurs niveaux et restera à jamais dans nos coeurs. Bon repos ma belle!

Gail n'a jamais été accouplée
It is with great ambition that I acquired Gail only 8 months after Naya. Gail has been such a challenge and will definitely be one to remember. My Chesapeake-like determination led us in 2011 to obtaining her show CH, JH and WC titles, all in 5 consecutive weekends and without any failure.
After this amazing summer filled with success and pride, Gail had to undergo an emergency surgery for a pyometra that was just hours away from being fatal.
Gail had the perfect attitude for a performance dog, she was very dynamic, inexhaustible and her switch was always on! It is with Gail that I have learned the basics of show handling.
Gail went Best Veteran and Best of Opposite Sex at the 2015 National Show Specialty held by the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada, not bad for a 9-year-old girl!

Thanks to my mother, Gail enjoyed the most wonderful "retirement" of all. Words can't express how grateful I am.

Gail's story came to an end on September 28, 2019. The cancer won. She has been a wonderful teacher on so many levels and will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace Gorgeous!
