Hunt Test Montréal | Montreal Hunt Test
Keanuuu a obtenu 2 passes JH et Everest a obtenu sa première passe SH lors de l'épreuve de chasse tenue par le Club du chien rapporteur de Montréal.

1er de groupe pour Beckie | Beckie's Group 1st
Beckie a débuté en force sa carrière de show lors du concours sanctionné de la Société Canine de Québec le 15 février dernier en obtenant la première place du groupe et le meilleur chiot du groupe.
​
Ce fut une très belle pratique pour nous deux et nous avons bien hâte aux prochains concours.
​
Beckie had a very nice start to her show career at La Société Canine de Québec's sanctionned match on February 15 where she was awarded a Group 1st and Best Puppy in Group.
​
It was a great experience for both of us and we can't wait for the next shows.

Everest SD-A-SP & WCX
Everest a complété ses titres avancé spécial en détection d'odeur (SD-A-SP) et certificat de travail excellent en chasse (WCX) la fin de semaine dernière. Beau retour au travail après un congé maternité de 4 mois.

Everest completed her advanced scent detection title (SD-A-SP) and her working certificate excellent title (WCX). Quite a come back from her 4-month maternity leave.

Phoenix SD-S-SP
Félicitations à Phoenix et Barbara qui, avec seulement quelques semaines d'entraînement, ont réussi les 3 composantes du niveau novice en détection d'odeur pour l'obtention du titre Sporting Detection - Started - Special (SD-S-SP).

Congratulations to Phoenix and Barbara who passed all three components of the novice level in scent detection, earning Phoenix the title Sporting Detection - Started - Special (SD-S-SP), all that with only a few weeks of training!

Certificat de travail - Working Certificate
Le 2 septembre dernier Everest et Phoenix ont respectivemet obtenus les titres WCI et WC lors du certificat de travail tenu par le Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada. Une belle journée pour plusieurs Chesapeakes de partout au Québec.

On September 2nd, Everest and Phoenix respectively passed their WCI and WC titles at the Working Certificate held by the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada. A very nice day for many Chesapeakes from all over the province of Quebec.

Une première en Master! First Master Pass!
Le 19 mai dernier Jäger s'est qualifiée au niveau Master à l'épreuve de chasse du Eastern Flyway Hunting Retriever Club à Newport en Nouvelle-Écosse. Il s'agissait de notre première fois dans le niveau Master à toutes les deux et elle a tout donné ce qu'elle avait! Quelle belle conlusion à notre voyage d'entraînement.

On May 19, Jäger qualified in Master at Eastern Flyway Hunting Retriever Club's Hunt Test in Newport, Nova Scotia. It was a first time in Master for both of us and she gave it all! What a great way to end our 10-day training vacation.

Retraite! Retirement!
Le 4 août dernier, à exactement 10 ans et demi, Gail a fait son dernier tour de ring au show de la Société Canine de Québec. Elle s'est mérité Meilleur Vétéran du groupe et Meilleur Altéré du groupe. Le juge a mentionné qu'elle était très bien conservée! Profite de ta retraite ma poulette en chocolat!

On August 4, the day she turned 10.5 y-o, Gail ended her show career going Best Veteran in Group and Best Altered in Group at Société Canine de Québec Dog Show. The judge said she had really maintained her condition and did not look like a 10 y-o dog at all. Enjoy your retirement gorgeous!

Nouveaux titres!! New Titles!!
Le 17 juillet dernier à l'épreuve de chasse tenue par le CCRQ, Fever et Phoenix ont tous deux obtenu leur titre JH. Leur mère Jäger quant à elle a obtenu 2 qualifications en SH.

On July 17 at CCRQ Hunt Test, Fever and Phoenix both got their JH title. Their mom Jäger got 2 SH legs.

Everest SD-S-SP
Everest a obtenu son titre SD-S-SP. Voici ses stats: Container search: ex aequo à la première place en pointage, troisième place au chronomètre. Recherche intérieure: 2e place au pointage et 1e place au chronomètre avec 16 secondes!!! Recherche extérieure: Qualifiée mais aucun placement. Pointage global de 92 et 3e place du concours. Everest est la première Chesapeake au Canada a obtenir le titre SD-S-SP. Merci au juge Russell Fox.

Interior search: 2nd place in points and first place on the timer with 16 seconds!!!! Exterior search : qualified (no placement ) Overall score of 92 for a 3rd place in the contest. Jäger et Everest ont connu une belle fin de semaine à la Spécialité nationale du Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada qui s'est tenue à Woodville (ON) où elles se sont respectivement mérité les titre WCX et WC.

Jäger and Everest had a nice week end at the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada National Specialty held in Woodville (ON) where they respectively got their WCX and WC titles.

Everest Junior Hunter
Everest a obtenu son titre JH à l'épreuve de chasse du Club du chien rapporteur de Québec exactement un an après avoir été "conçue". Elle a réussi 3 épreuves en 3. Quel beau et plaisant début de carrière! Merci aux juges: Sylvain Laurier, Guy Villeneuve, Pierre Girard, Conrad Langlois, Chad Whittaker et Arol Lambert.

Très fière d'avoir gagné le concours photo du Retriever News Magazine! Quinn (ruban or) et Phoenix (ruban vert et rouge), deux chiots de la portée de Yukon x Jäger, figurent en page couverture de l'édition de décembre. Le éditeur en chef a dit qu'il y avait longtemps qu'un Chessie avait fait la première page...
Very pround of winning the Retriever News Magazine photo contest! Quinn (gold ribbon) and Phoenix (green and red ribbon), two puppies from our Yukon x Jäger breeding, are featured on the December issue cover. The managing editor said it had been quite some time since a Chessie had been on the cover...

Lors de la Spécialité Nationale tenue par le Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada, Gail a remporté Meilleur Vétéran ainsi que Meilleur du Sexe Opposé.
At the National Show Specialy held by the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada, Gail went Best Veteran and Best of Opposite Sex.
